So in Love with Morgan Brig's Work

Recently my friends, Stella and Leslie and I attended the opening of Morgan Brig's latest work at the Patricia Rovzar Gallery in Seattle. Her work is just extraordinary and I am a huge fan. You just want to touch each one and inspect it. Luckily, she was with us part of the time so we could do just that and ask her questions. The scale of some of these pieces are much larger than you can imagine when you look at promotional materials.

I Shine A Little More Brightly - huge. Just magnificent.

And then there was this!

Here it is with Morgan so you can see the scale of it. Love the ballerina at the top!

Her grids of sculptures took our breaths away. So much detail in each piece. Just amazing. We could have stayed for hours and looked at each one.

Loved this sweet little piece.

Love the ears on this one. Hard to take a picture and not get the shadows.

Love the details on this one. Hmmm, I have some eyes from Oaxaca!

The show is open until the end of the month. It's just down the street from the Seattle Art Museum. Give yourself a gift and go see this show!

Ideas are swirling around in my head for the creations we will be making in September with Morgan. SO Looking forward to this workshop!
